Now that your profile is set up, it’s time to create your first activity module! We’ll start with a Page module, which is perfect for creating instructional content.

- Navigate to the module creation page
- Create a page module
- Add rich text content to your page
- Save and publish your module
Create a page module
Section titled “Create a page module”-
Navigate to your module library or course where you want to add a module.

Click “Add Module” or “Create Activity” button.

Select “Page” from the list of module types.
You should see a form with fields for:
- Title - The name of your page module
- Description - A brief description of the page content
- Content - The rich text editor for your page content
Add content to your page
Section titled “Add content to your page”-
Enter a title for your page module, for example: “Introduction to Paideia LMS”

Add a description: “This page provides an overview of Paideia LMS features and capabilities.”

Use the rich text editor to create your page content:
<h2>Welcome to Paideia LMS</h2><p>Paideia LMS is a modern, lightweight Learning Management System designed for educational institutions.</p><h3>Key Features</h3><ul><li>Comprehensive course management</li><li>Interactive activity modules</li><li>Flexible user roles and permissions</li><li>Built-in gradebook</li></ul><p>This is your first page module! You can use the rich text editor to format your content with headings, lists, links, images, and more.</p>The rich text editor supports:
- Text formatting: Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough
- Headings: Multiple heading levels (H1-H6)
- Lists: Ordered and unordered lists
- Links: Internal and external links
- Images: Inline images with alt text
- Tables: Create and format tables
- Code blocks: Syntax-highlighted code snippets
Save and publish your module
Section titled “Save and publish your module”-
Review your content in the preview pane (if available).

Choose your module status:
- Draft: Save as draft if you want to continue editing later
- Published: Publish if you’re ready to make it available to students

Click “Save” or “Publish” to save your page module.

Verify your module appears in your module library or course.
Congratulations! You’ve created your first page module!
